How it works
The two coupling halves are identical. A patented locking pin and lever give two interlocks: the valves cannot open until the halves are mated, and the halves cannot be separated until both valves are closed. The body is passivated 303 stainless steel with EPDM-P seals. The 1" size flows 189 lpm (Cv 30) and the 2" size 800 lpm (Cv 127), both at 10 bar working pressure, from −3 to 60 °C. The FD83-2128-16-16 offered has a 1" sanitary flange end (DIN 32676 / ISO 2852) that joins a tri-clamp ferrule. FD83 is not intended for two-phase cooling.
