How it works
Xylem end-suction pumps are a common choice for primary and secondary chilled-water duty. Pumps are selected at a duty point of flow and head, usually run on variable speed drives, and arranged with standby units for N+1 redundancy in mission-critical plants.
Role in the system
- 1.Primary / secondary chilled-water circulation
- 2.Variable flow with VSD for part-load efficiency
- 3.Redundant duty / standby arrangement
